Both of these Silver Edition Fly Rods feature a beautifully finished, deep green matte blank, sleek-looking reel seats, Fuji Sic stripping guides, Pac Bay TiCH snake guides and premium A-grade cork handles. Offering a fast action with power to spare, the 9', 8-weight, 3-piece Silver Edition Rod is ideal for medium to heavy freshwater use and light to medium saltwater applications. The blank features IM-8 graphite and T17 carbon graphite slit wrap. This beefy Silver Edition rod is another great casting rod and is one of the more sensitive rods available in its weight class. To complete this outfit, we've matched the 8-weight Silver Edition Rod with our high-performing 7/8-weight Gold Cup Large Arbor Fly Reel which sports a gloss black finish. The reel's machined-aluminum construction and a carbon fiber disc drag provide reliable, all-weather service, while its zero-reverse bearing offers smooth, instantaneous drag engagement.
