In hopes of continuing the great honor of serving our customers, the White River Fly Shops pro staff worked over time to develop two very affordabe, premium performing Silver Edition Fly Rods to mark the occasion. Both Silver Edition Fly Rods feature a beautifully finished, deep green matte blank, sleek-looking reel seats, Fuji Sic stripping guides, Pac Bay TiCH snake guides and premium A-grade cork handles. Offering a fast action with power to spare, the 9', 8-weight, 3-piece Silver Edition rod is based on our 'Gold Cup' fly rod series. Again, the blank is high modulus graphite (70 million modulus) with additional interior carbon graphite slit wrap. This beefy Silver Edition rod is another great casting rod and is one of the more sensitive rods available in its weight class. A super fly rod for medium to heavy freshwater use and light to medium saltwater applications. Fashioned from our 'Classic' fly rod as far as action is concerned, the 8'6', 5-weight, 3-piece Silver Edition rod features a fast action that's ideal for targeting trout and panfish. Built from 70 million modulus graphite with an additional carbon graphite slit wrap on the inside, this rod is a delight to cast and is easily one of the most responsive rods on the market. Alignment dots, rod sock and a carbon graphite rod tube complete the package.
